CyArk is committed to fostering broad public access to cultural heritage through our Tapestry platform. This policy outlines the terms under which our Tapestry experiences may be distributed, embedded, and used.
Permitted Uses (No Charge)
Tapestry experiences may be freely embedded and shared under the following conditions:
- Embedding is on publicly accessible websites, educational platforms, blogs, digital exhibits, or similar non-commercial contexts.
- Use within educational programs, public lectures, exhibitions, and classroom materials.
- The embedded content must include visible attribution, retain all original CyArk branding and copyrights, and clearly link back to tapestry.cyark.org.
- Embedded experiences must remain unmodified and free from additional advertisements or alterations.
Restricted Uses (Permission Required)
Prior written permission and licensing from CyArk is required for:
- Embedding or integrating Tapestry experiences behind paywalls, subscription services, or ticketed digital platforms.
- Commercial use or monetization of Tapestry content, including integration into commercial products, paid online courses, mobile apps, or commercial tours and services.
- Modification, redistribution, or extraction of assets from Tapestry content for independent use.
- Removing CyArk branding or applying technical measures that restrict free public access, including digital rights management (DRM) or mandatory account logins.
Conditions Applicable to All Uses
- CyArk reserves the right to revoke embedding rights or request immediate removal of content for non-compliance or misuse.
- Users must not imply CyArk’s endorsement or partnership without explicit prior approval.

CyArk welcomes collaborations and partnerships for commercial or restricted uses. Interested parties should contact us at info@cyark.org with details about the proposed use, audience size, distribution method, and revenue model for further discussion.
