Pearl Harbor and Ford Island From Above - Scene 1
Just west of Honolulu on the Island of Oahu, this lagoon harbor was often visited by the Naval fleet of the United States before being acquired from the Hawaiian Kingdom by the U.S. with the signing of the Reciprocity Treaty of 1875. Today, it serves as the Headquarters for the United States Pacific Fleet.
This tour was created with support of the National Park Service at Pearl Harbor National Monument, and Pacific Historic Parks. A special thanks to our interview contributions from Jim Neuman and David Kilton.
